These .25" thick "stackable" steel shims are placed between the coil springs' bottom seat and the axle beams to offset ride height loss due to additional weight (winch, snow plow, equipment, etc.) and / or spring fatigue. Shims can be used for additional height if adequate camber adjustment is available, and steering linkage angles are addressed.
The coil spring mounting stud's hex nut is .5" tall. Use #93535 hex-hole shims for the first .5". Use #93537 shims, stacked on top of #93535 for up to 1" total of additional lift. #93537 shims have a round center hole to fit the stud's threaded shaft.
