Is your fuel gauge not reading properly? An early Bronco fuel sending unit replacement can replace a stick and a flashlight. We even have replacement fuel lines and fuel pumps to make sure the gas gets where it needs to be.
The 1980-96 Ford Bronco utilized both a 25.5 gallon fuel tank and a 33 gallon fuel tank. The fuel tanks are available in both a 2 inch sending unit hole and 3 5/8 inch. We offer both steel and plastic fuel tanks.
The 25.5 gallon fuel tank was available from 1980-1983 and has a total tank depth of 12.75 inches. The 25.5 gallon was available from the factory with lower tank straps or an optional skid plate. The 33 gallon fuel tank was available from 1980-1996 and has a total depth of 15.75 inches. The 33 gallon tank was only available with a lower skid plate. Lower tank straps were not available from the factory with the 33 gallon fuel tanks.
The 2 inch sending unit was used from 1980-1989 while the 3 5/8" sending unit hole opening was used from 1990-1996.
The plastic tanks are a nice alternative to the steel because they will not rust over time. The steel is great in the fact that is offer the original style stamping and lock ring design and provides a more cost effective solution,
