This replacement ignition lock cylinder is supplied with 2 keys for use on vehicles equipped with Ford Passive Anti-Theft System.
Programming of Ignition Lock Keys:Special Tool Advisory! Either a New Generation Star Tester (NGS) or equivalent scan tool with key reprogramming software are necessary for the reprogramming procedure. User must be familiar with scan tool operation before attempting programming.
This procedure is necessary to program the two ignition keys to the Passive Anti-Theft system (PATS) memory, and will erase all existing programmed ignition keys from the vehicle memory.
