Description

Constructed from a combination of 3/16" Wall Square Main Tube, 1/8" wall square kickers and 3/16" frame plates, you won’t find a stronger set of sliders for your Bronco.

The corners are reinforced with welded gussets offering superior strength to a standard butt-weld while the kickers connect to the main tube with lovers that run the length of the slider offering body protection.

Securing these sliders to the frame, we designed brackets that bolt in to existing frame holes on the two rear gusseted towers. Hardware is provided and susceptible bolt heads are shielded by our in-house machined 17-4 stainless countersunk washers to ensure you’re not hung up on the trail. If you do slide over something, the bolt head should remain in tact. There are also holes in the bracket to which to attach the factory wiring harness (via zip tie).

The front tower is the only one that requires welding. Our engineer designed these sliders to bolt on to locate the front-most mount. Once mounted, mark the location of the front tower, clean and weld. With the front tower “footing” welded in place, the sliders become a simple bolt-on installation (and removal) should they be removed to be re-coated, sold, whatever.

Sure, they could’ve made ones that bolt to the rocker but there’s nothing stronger than a frame mounted slider. This also avoids hanging the chassis from body-mounts when utilizing your sliders – to Carli and their customers, this was the clear route.
