Ford Sterling 10.25 Inch Full Float Complete Rear Disc Brake Kit

This kit will allow you to remove the heavy stock rear drums, backing plates, shoes and hardware and replace them with a lighter weight disc kit. Not only does this kit weigh less, but the rotors run cooler when you are doing some heavy braking and there is no enclosed drum to pack full of mud and water when you're off-road.
The slip over rotors allow you to install your hub without the extra weight of the rotor. The Sterling axle did not have the drums on the back side of the hub. Putting a rotor on the back side of the hub the studs will be held away from the hub by the thickness of the rotor and the studs will not have much knurl into the hub and might turn when the wheel is removed. These are a couple of reasons we use slip over rotors.

- Brackets
- Fasteners
- Short cable extension (connects park brake cable)
- Stainless brake lines
- 12 3/4" Slip over vented Rotors (Minimum Rotor Thickness 28mm)
- New (not rebuilt) Calipers with a parking brake.
NOTE:
Kit will fit 16" and larger single rear wheels, NOT for dually.
