Maintains better alignment while cornering, stopping, and hard launching than soft O.E.M. rubber.
A must for raised vehicles where weight transfer causes distortion.
All trac-bar bushings are full floating and non binding.... especially important when ride height is altered or greater suspension load is required.
The '66-75 Bronco uses a unique trac-bar. The bushings are round instead of oval and are not interchangeable with the later 76-77 trac-bar.
Durometer (the measure of softness) and tensile strength are some of the terms automotive engineers use to describe properties of elastomeric suspension components.
Automotive applications should vary in durometer between 65(soft) and 88(firm).
Performance, heavy duty and off road tensile strength should not be less than 2000-2500 psi.
With most polyurethane companies it ends up being the lower durometer, the lower the tensile strength.
But with Energys custom compounds and in-house proprietary formulations, their engineers can now custom tailor the urethane properties in Energy polyurethane products to provide the proper mix of strength and durometer as required by application.
RIDES BETTER, LASTS LONGER!
The suspension components abused by heavy off-road use, require good control.
In these off road applications, Energy engineers specify a durometer of 80-85 to ensure good control.
Tensile strengths are achieved on the order of 5000 psi! to assure durability and long component life.
Energy has successfully developed the ultimate ride and most responsive handling characteristics while delivering the ultimate durability.
The bottom line is Energy out rides, out handles, out performs and out lasts the previous industry standard.
