The fuel systems for the 1980-1996 Ford Trucks offered both rear mounted tanks and an optional side mounted front fuel tank
The rear tanks are a 19 gallon tank and came standard. You can watch see how to remove the rear fuel tank for the Ford pickup truck here. You can see how to install the rear Ford pickup truck fuel tank here.
The optional side mounted tank is available in 16 gallon or 19 gallon. The 16 gallon tank is 42" long, the 19 gallon tank is 60" long.
Our trucks lead a tough life. When used like they should be, the fuel tank can be exposed to damage – and when they sit, they can rot. If your Ford Bronco gas tank has seen better days, Bronco Graveyard can get your rig back on the trail.
A front side gas tank can give you more range when Overlanding far from civilization. We even have new fuel pumps – both electric and mechanical – so you can get the gas where it needs to be.
