 Detailed Description
A factory steering shaft flex joint can wear out in as little as 4000 miles!! Replace it with a long lasting heavy duty BORGESON Needle Bearing Universal Joint Shaft Assembly.

Truck steering systems take a lot of abuse and the OEM factory style steering shaft flex joint usually isn’t up to the task. If the suspension is lifted, if oversize tires have been installed, if you use your truck for towing, plowing, or off-roading, the factory steering assembly will eventually wear out and you will experience excessive play in your steering.

If you have any play in your steering, your truck will have loose and vague steering. You may feel a looseness in the steering when you hit a bump or the truck may wander in crosswinds. If you have oversize tires, these effects will be exaggerated. If your truck has quite a few miles on it, you may not have noticed the increasing play in the steering. If your steering wheel moves back and forth a few inches with no effect on the front wheels, now is the time to replace the OEM shaft assembly with the BORGESON Truck Assembly.

Our assemblies will accommodate body lifts up to 3" and are so strong and durable we back them with a 2 Year, 30,000 Mile Warranty.
