 Detailed Description
Fits 1966-75 Bronco's with 11 inch drum and 11" x 1 3/4" shoes and 88128R bearing (3.15).
Complete axle with bearing, retainer plate,studs and seal.
>Must use nodular iron 3rd member housing for 35 spline axles.
* This never came stock.
REAR AXLES GO THROUGH THESE STEPS:
- Upset forging
- Normalize after forging
- Rough turn
- Fine or "finish" turn
- Turning of the flange
- Drill holes for the studs
- Splines are rolled
- Final heat treat by computer-controlled induction furnace
- 100% Magnaflux inspection for cracks
- Straightening
- Finish grinding
