This upset forging process creates a subsurface grain structure that closely matches the shape of the flange for increased strength and durability.

This axle is 20-25% stronger than a standard 31 spline axle like what was used in the larger Broncos!
Complete driver side axle with bearing,retainer plate, studs and seal fits 1976-77 with 11 inch drum and 11" x 2 1/4" shoes and 88128R bearing (3.15 diameter).
You will need to use a 31 Spline carrier with this axle.
