This the swinging tire carrier rack catch latch that is bolted to the tailgate on a 1978-79 Ford Bronco.

This part is manufactured in the USA! 

Commonly rusted and worn from road grime and salt, commonly worn from having the weight of the tire rack with a tire slammed into it repeatedly over years of use.  This replacment will hold the bar of tire rack securly for years of continued use.  The catch latch comes zinc coated for corrosion resistance and can be painted to match your Bronco.
