ELocker locking differential

The Eaton ELocker is an electronic, selectable differential designed for drivers that need traction on-demand. At the flip of a dash switch, drivers can go from open to 100-percent locked. A second flip of the switch deactivates the unit to resume normal driving. The ELocker is the most reliable on-demand differential, featuring selectable operation and net-forged gears for added strength.
On-demand traction
While driving under normal conditions, the ELocker electric locking differential performs as an open differential. If an obstacle is encountered – a rocky trail, muddy ditch or other challenge – the driver turns on a dash switch to activate the unit. The electromagnetic mechanism then locks, capturing 100% of the available torque and sending it equally to both wheels. A second flip of the switch deactivates the unit to resume normal driving.
Four pinion gear design
The ELocker electric locking differential is designed for high-performance applications including off-roading, trail riding, rock crawling and towing. Four pinion gear design models provide smooth engagement and validated strength, making it an ideal solution for getting maximum traction to overcome challenging terrain.
